Terms of Service

1. Who we are
EazyService ("we", "our", "us", "Platform") is operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], a [Sole Proprietorship / Private Limited Company] registered in India with its principal place of business at [REGISTERED ADDRESS, THANE, MAHARASHTRA]. You can reach us at hello@eazyservice.in.
EazyService is a marketplace that connects customers with independent local service providers. We do not employ providers, do not perform the services ourselves, and do not own any goods or inventory used in service delivery.
2. Accepting these Terms
By creating an account, listing services, placing an order, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
You must be 18 years or older to use EazyService. By using the Platform you represent that you have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under Indian law.
3. Account creation and security
You sign up using your mobile phone number, verified by a one-time password (OTP) sent via SMS. You are responsible for keeping your phone access and OTP confidential. Any activity under your account is treated as performed by you.
We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion for violations of these Terms, fraud, abusive behaviour toward other users, or activity that endangers customer safety.
4. The marketplace relationship
When a customer books a service through the Platform:
- The contract for the service is between the customer and the provider directly.
- EazyService acts as a technology intermediary — we facilitate discovery, payment processing, and dispute support.
- EazyService is not a party to the service contract and does not warrant the quality, fitness, or outcome of the service.
Providers are independent contractors, not our employees, agents, or partners. They set their own prices, scheduling, and methods of performing the service.
5. Customer obligations
- Provide accurate contact, location and service-requirement information.
- Be present at the service location at the agreed time.
- Pay the agreed amount via the Platform (online) or directly to the provider (cash on service), as selected at checkout.
- Treat providers with respect; do not solicit them to bypass the Platform.
- Leave honest reviews; defamation and fraudulent reviews may result in account suspension.
6. Provider obligations
Detailed provider obligations are set out in the Provider Terms. Summarised here:
- Complete KYC (Aadhaar / PAN / address proof) and pay the one-time joining fee where applicable.
- Honour bookings you accept; provide service as listed.
- Do not collect customer contact details to bypass EazyService for repeat business.
- Carry valid licences and statutory registrations required for your trade (e.g. electrical contractor, FSSAI, gas-fitter, etc.).
- Comply with the platform commission (10% of order value, deducted from your payouts).
7. Pricing, payments and fees
- Prices are set by providers and shown to customers before booking.
- A platform fee of ₹[29] per order may be added at checkout.
- Payment is processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, a PCI-DSS-compliant payment aggregator. We do not store your full card details.
- For online-paid orders, EazyService receives funds, deducts our 10% commission, and pays the remainder to the provider weekly via UPI or bank transfer.
- For cash-on-service orders, the provider collects the full amount in cash and remits our 10% commission to us weekly via the provider portal.
- Goods and Services Tax (GST) is charged where applicable. Tax invoices are available for download on the order detail page.
8. Cancellations and refunds

9. Reviews and content
You retain ownership of reviews, photos, and other content you post. By posting, you grant EazyService a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable licence to display, store, and use that content to operate and promote the Platform.
We may remove content that is illegal, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or violates third-party rights.
10. Prohibited conduct
- Bypassing the Platform to transact directly with providers / customers met through us.
- Embedding phone numbers, emails, or external contact info in listings, reviews, or messages.
- Scraping or copying provider data, customer data, or platform content.
- Harassment, threats, sexual misconduct, or any illegal activity.
- Posting fake reviews, manipulating ratings, or impersonating another user.
- Reverse-engineering, attacking, or disrupting the Platform.
11. Disclaimers and liability cap
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. EazyService disclaims all warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except as required by Indian law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EazyService's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform is limited to the greater of ₹5,000 or the platform fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EazyService, its directors, officers, employees and agents from any claims, damages, losses or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without notice, for breach of these Terms or behaviour that risks the safety or trust of the community. You may close your account at any time by emailing hello@eazyservice.in.
14. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Thane, Maharashtra.
Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to attempt good-faith resolution by contacting us at hello@eazyservice.in for at least 30 days.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
16. Grievance officer
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT Rules, you may contact our Grievance Officer for any complaints regarding the Platform:
