Provider Terms
Last updated: 6 May 2026
1. Who these terms cover
These Provider Terms apply to anyone who registers as a service provider on EazyService (the "Platform") operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME]. They are in addition to our general Terms of Service which apply to all users.
2. You are an independent contractor — not our employee
By signing up as a provider you confirm that:
- You are an independent professional or business, not an employee, agent or partner of EazyService.
- You set your own prices, working hours, and method of work.
- You are responsible for your own income tax, GST (where applicable), professional licences, and provident fund / ESI obligations if you employ others.
- EazyService does not provide salary, leave, gratuity, PF, ESI, medical insurance, or any employment benefits.
- EazyService does not direct or supervise the manner in which you perform services.
3. Eligibility and KYC
You must, before going live:
- Be 18 years or older with full legal capacity to contract.
- Submit valid government photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, voter ID, or passport).
- Provide a working mobile number and a payout destination (UPI ID or bank account).
- Hold any statutory licences your trade requires (e.g. electrical contractor licence, FSSAI for food, gas-fitter certification, BIS registration for plumbers, salon "Shop & Establishment" licence, etc.) and maintain them in good standing.
- Pay the one-time ₹499 joining fee. We may waive this for our first 100-200 onboarded providers; in that case, the equivalent amount is recovered from your first weekly payouts.
4. Listings and content
- You may only list services you are qualified, licensed and equipped to perform.
- Your listings, photos, and descriptions must be accurate. Misleading content (faked credentials, photos of work that isn't yours) results in immediate suspension.
- Listings must not include personal phone numbers, emails, WhatsApp links, or any way for customers to bypass the Platform. Our system auto-detects and blocks these.
- You retain ownership of content you upload but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and promote it on the Platform.
- New / edited listings undergo admin moderation, typically within 24 hours.
5. Bookings, acceptance and service delivery
- You will see incoming bookings in the Jobs tab. You can Accept or Decline each booking.
- Once you Accept, the customer's contact and address are revealed to you and a contract for the service is formed between you and the customer.
- You must arrive on time, in clean professional attire, with the tools and materials needed for the listed service.
- Use the in-app status flow: Accepted → On the way → Started → Completed. Marking Completed triggers customer billing and starts our payout clock.
- Be courteous. Discriminatory behaviour (gender, caste, religion, disability) results in permanent ban.
- Do not solicit cash from the customer outside the agreed price unless you're providing additional work the customer agrees to in writing via the chat.
6. Pricing, commission and payouts
Online-paid orders
- Customer pays the full amount via Razorpay at checkout.
- EazyService deducts a 10% commission and a ₹[29] platform fee.
- Net amount is paid to you weekly (every Monday) via UPI or bank transfer to the destination on your profile.
- Payout is conditional on the order being marked Completed (or REVIEWED) and not subject to active dispute.
Cash-on-service orders
- You collect the full agreed cash amount from the customer at the time of service.
- Each Monday we issue a Commission Invoice for 10% of the previous week's cash orders.
- You must settle the invoice within 7 days via UPI to [eazyservice@upi] with the invoice number as reference.
- Failure to settle suspends new bookings until paid.
Adjustments
- Refunds for customer disputes (see Refund Policy) are deducted from your next payout.
- Joining-fee waivers (if applicable) are recovered from your first ₹499 of net payouts.
- Provider-side cancellation penalties (₹100-300 per cancellation past acceptance) are deducted from your next payout.
7. Reviews
- Customers can leave a star rating and written review after a completed order.
- You may respond once to each review through the Platform.
- We do not delete reviews simply because they are negative. We may remove reviews that contain abusive language, defamatory content, or are clearly fraudulent.
- Repeatedly low ratings (under 3.5 average over 20+ reviews) lead to suspension and remediation; repeat offenders are permanently removed.
8. Bypassing the platform — strictly prohibited
You agree not to:
- Solicit customers met through EazyService for repeat business outside the Platform.
- Hand out personal phone numbers, business cards, social handles, or any direct-contact information.
- Encourage customers to pay you directly via UPI / cash and skip the Platform's commission.
- Operate parallel listings on competing platforms using identical photos / descriptions while still using EazyService inventory.
Violation results in: forfeiture of pending payouts, removal of all listings, account ban, and (where damages are significant) legal recovery proceedings under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
9. Insurance and liability
- You are solely responsible for the quality, safety, and outcome of services you deliver.
- You must carry adequate professional liability / public liability insurance for high-risk trades (electrical, plumbing, vehicle service, etc.). EazyService does not provide insurance and recommends a minimum cover of ₹10 lakh.
- You indemnify EazyService against any claim, damages, or expenses arising from your services, including bodily injury or property damage to customers.
10. Tax compliance
- You are responsible for your own income tax filings and GST registration / payments where your turnover crosses statutory thresholds (currently ₹20 lakh / ₹40 lakh depending on category).
- EazyService deducts TDS at applicable rates (currently 1% under section 194-O for e-commerce operators) on each payout, where required by Indian tax law. Form 16A is provided quarterly via email.
- You will receive a monthly statement of payouts and commissions for your records.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for:
- Violation of these terms or the general Terms of Service.
- Confirmed fraud, identity theft, or KYC tampering.
- Multiple substantiated complaints of poor service or misconduct.
- Inactive accounts (90+ days no logins).
You may close your provider account at any time by emailing hello@eazyservice.in. Pending payouts are processed in the next regular cycle. Open commission invoices remain payable.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Provider Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Thane, Maharashtra. Before legal action, parties shall attempt good-faith resolution by writing to hello@eazyservice.in for at least 30 days.
13. Changes
We may update these Provider Terms periodically. Changes are announced in the provider portal and via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
